Subject: An Elvis Presley Thanksgiving at B&B

Paul Simon goes to Graceland when he gets in
a funk.  He takes his nine year traveling companion 
to Elvis' mansion in Memphis Tennessee.

Not me.

I go to Graceland when I'm hungry.  

Elvis did, too.  

Plus my Mom's got an Elvis Presley Southern Recipe 
Cookbook, and every thanksgiving when we pull into 
her driveway, I relish the thought of that Elvis-style
Sweet Potato Pie.

It's so good, you have take your shoes off and 
wiggle your toes while you eat it!

Well us folks at B&B are mostly country folks from
north central Illinois, and we like Elvis Food.

What's Elvis Food? It's any kind of food that's juicy, 
greasy, indulgent and loaded with cholesterol.  Fit for
a king, I tell you.

Now when we gather 'round and say thanks, you need
to know that we're also thankful to you, our customers.
We're not only thankful that you send in orders and
use the stuff, we're also thankful for your comments
and suggestions.

For example I had this customer who’s liquid-cooled
welding controller had a housing that would crack.
The resulting leak would spill 480 volt-charged coolant all 
over the place and fry seven other controller boards
on the same RS485 network.

He needed a "sacrificial surge handler."  So what 
we came up with was the fused "throw away" surge suppressor

Another one that grew out of customer suggestions
was the 232BSS4 Q4 Smart Switch Network Management
software.  People really liked our buffered smart 
data switch but for advanced applications they needed
to make slight adjustments to their software.  We put Jeremy,
one of our crack software team, on the case. He wrote a software 
package that not only lets you connect multiple devices
to a single serial port without any software mods, but 
it even provides a network visualization and customization 
feature to let you keep track of networks far too big to 
draw on a napkin.
