Plug-and-Play Ethernet Switch is a Tiny Survivor 

Ottawa, IL - Freeze it to -29° F or toast it to +165° F.  Neither will bother the new Elinx™ series of heavy duty copper and fiber Ethernet switches from B&B Electronics.  

They are NEMA rated TS2 for temperature, shock, and vibration in indoor and outdoor applications and meet the IEC61000-6-2 generic standard immunity for industrial environments.  Typical applications would include industrial automation, SCADA systems, and building, environmental and traffic control.  

These plug-and-play Ethernet switches route data communications across a LAN, sending them to specific destinations, decreasing traffic and improving the reliability of Ethernet networks.  No special programming is required.  Just connect the data lines, attach a 10 to 30 VDC power source, and you're good to go.

The tough metal DIN rail mount cases are very compact- just 5.3 x 4.9 x 2.0 inches, making them ideal for applications with tight space restrictions.  Redundant power supplies can keep data flowing even if main power fails.  

Models are available with four to eight copper ports and one or two ST or SC fiber ports.  Fiber runs at 10/100M - full or half duplex MDI/MDIX with auto negotiation.  96K byte memory buffers assure no signals are lost.
