Amplify weak RS-232 Signals
Double the range of your RS-232 data signal. Repeaters
may be daisy-chained for extra range. Many CE computers, laptops,
and some desktops ship with low-power ports that are unable to drive port-powered devices or
full-length RS-232 cabling. Repeaters amplify these weak signals up to the RS-232 standard.
Model 232LB9R is a 9-pin version, boosting all eight signal lines and carrying ground through.
Model 232LB2 is a 25 pin version, boosting TD (Transmit Data), RD (Receive Data), RTD
(Request to Send), CTS (Clear to Send), CD (Carrier Detect) and DTR (Data Terminal Ready). A power supply is not included, is required and is available separately (see the accessory lists for the appropriate products below).
Model 232OPDR is a DIN Rail RS-232 repeater and optical isolator.
